Salivary Hormone Testing
After a private consultation with our pharmacist we will provide you with a salivary hormone testing kit. Sampling is easily done in privacy of your own home. No blood sampling or needles are required. Painless and accurate, these tests provide state-of-the-art results without a trip to the doctor, or lab. Testing is available for both women and men, evaluating levels of the following:
Estrogens (Estriol, Estradiol, Estrone)
Progesterone
Testosterone
DHEA
Cortisol
Thyroid
In the comfort and privacy of your home simply collect a small sample of your saliva, fill out the sample submission form and send off the sample in a prepaid envelope to the testing laboratory. Results are usually available in about 10 - 14 business days and will be sent to the pharmacy.
Your lab results are then fowarded to you and your physician. Working with your physician, our pharmacist will evaluate your results and help formulate a customized treatment plan. This may include bio-identical hormone therapy and nutritional supplements that address hormone imbalances and adrenal function. With your physician's approval we will then accurately prepare your prescription specifically for you.
